Row and column numbers describe consecutive filled runs, separated by at least one empty cell.

Solve your puzzle

  1. Choose a board size. Select a top or left clue and enter the length of each filled run with the number pad.
  2. Leave at least one empty cell between runs. Use blank or 0 for an empty line. Confirm the clues, then select Solve.
  3. Use Previous step, Next step or the slider to review each filled or empty cell and its explanation.
  4. Check the full answer: the runs in every row and column must match their clues.

Do I need an account?

This solver is free and requires no account. Puzzle calculations run in your browser. Saved clues remain in this browser; clearing site data removes them.

What if no solution is found?

Check the clues and board size against the original puzzle. No solution means the entered constraints cannot all be satisfied. A cancelled or timed-out search does not prove that the puzzle has no solution. Use a built-in example to check the input workflow.
